On Friday, February 27,
announced the signing of midlaner
for the remainder of the 2026 season and the following year. He will replace
, who played with the team during the LCK Cup, a split that did not go particularly well for the team.
After spending a year in North America with
, Loki now returns to Korea and is set to compete in the
League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) for the first time in his career. Previously, he played for
in the LCK Academy Series (AS) and later in Challengers (CL).
Only four teams across the world’s six major leagues failed to win a single best-of series throughout the entire Winter Split:
in the LPL,
in the LCP,
in the LCS, and HANJIN BRION in the LCK.
So far their LCK Cup run was a disaster as BRO lost four BO3s and a BO5 during the group stage of the tournament. Thanks to the Group Baron having more points than Group Elder, they still managed to reach the Play-In, while HLE, with two wins, were eliminated. They faced
in an elimination BO, which they also lost 2-1.
At 21, Loki is set to make his debut in Korea’s top league for his fifth professional year. The young midlaner joined HLE in 2022 and played alongside few star names like
and
. After two years in the LCK CL, he moved abroad in 2025 to the United States, joining Cloud9 alongside his compatriot
.
His year went fairly well thanks to a top 3-4 finish in Split 1, a Split 2 final that qualified Loki for the Esports World Cup, but a more disappointing Summer Split ended just short of a podium placement. More recently, Loki played a game in the NLC for Bulldog Esports under the league’s Wildcard rule, which he won on Taliyah.
